Jana Krüger is a freelance author living in Berlin. She studied cultural studies and general and comparative literature in Potsdam and at the Free University of Berlin. She graduated with her degree in creative writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig.
In 2019, she received the Wortmeldung Förderpreis for a literary essay. In the summer of 2021, she took part in the 25th literature course in Klagenfurt. In 2024, she was nominated for the 1st Berlin Science Fiction Prize and invited to the Hörspielsommer Leipzig with a radio play manuscript.
Her texts have appeared in the magazines Edit, Metamorphosen, Mensch Verwandler, and Plant Magic.
As author she will take part in the Drama Lab 2026.
