
Judith “Meta” Loeffen, born in Düsseldorf in 1991, raised in Kleve on the Lower Rhine, first trained as a nurse at Heidelberg University Hospital (2010-2013) before completing her acting training at the state-approved Siegburg Drama School from 2013 to 2017.
Since then she has been working as an actress, musical performer, director, author, and composer. She has directed for the Children’s and Youth Theater of Witten and the Schlosstheater Celle, among others. As a composer and musical director, she has worked for the Schlosstheater Celle and the Theater der Stadt Aalen. Meta wrote, composed, and directed the a-cappella musical “Das Tinder Musical” as well as the plays ‘Kristallweizen’ and “Märchenstückchen.” With the latter she is currently touring throughout Germany with her collective Gedankensprung, as well as her cabaret song recital “Weinende Weiber und Gesang.”
In addition, she worked regularly as an author for the Witten Children’s and Youth Theater and for Theater Concept.
As author she takes part in the Drama Lab 2026.
