Rinus Silzle was born in Filderstadt in 1992. He worked at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Württemberg from 2012 to 2013, including as an assistant director for film and theatre projects. In 2014, he found his way to Berlin, where he studyied scenic writing at the University of the Arts. His first play “Totschlagen” was invited to the Essener Autorentage 2016. The youth play “Feige & Bananenbox” received the special prize for the German Children’s and Youth Theatre Prize in the same year and was shown in a half-hour workshop production at the Hans Otto Theatre in Potsdam.
