The Summer School Südtirol enters the next round and from August 22-26 focusing on the topic of “Radically old /l’età Radicale”:
A festival for all those who wonder what is so special about age. The radical nature of age is based on a sense of life, on experiences made, on wisdom gained in professions and social processes. This often still unexposed field will be illuminated.

The Summer School Südtirol was founded in 2015 by writer and playwright Maxi Obexer with the aim of sharing important contemporary issues with the public, bringing together the experience and knowledge of experts from various fields. The Summer School in cooperation with the WIENER WORTSTAETTEN, the nids (Neuen Institut für dramatisches Schreiben) and the network of MÜNCHNER THEATERTEXTER*INNEN offers space for new thoughts and open minds as well as for an interdisciplinary exchange of international authors and mentors during the 5-day program in the form of literary-dramatic workshops, discussion forums and readings.
All events take place at Velthurns Castle in Feldthurns in South Tyrol.
Admission is free, registration is not necessary, donations are welcome.
