
Leonie Pürmayr, born in 1998 in Tyrol, studied German language and literature and creative writing in Vienna. In 2023, she spent a year as an Erasmus visiting scholar at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig.
She was co-editor of JENNY, manuscript editor for the feminist crime fiction series ariadne (Argument Verlag), a tutor in literary studies (University of Vienna), and curator of the Poetikwissen symposium (kunsthaus muerz).
Her literary work focuses on performative readings with a local connection. She is currently an editor at the literary magazine process*in, a staff member at the literary agency Das Vorzimmer, and a reviewer for Der Standard.
Leonie is participating in the Summer School South Tyrol 2026.
