Jerome Junod _Franzi Kreis _WEB

Jérôme Junod, born in Lausanne in 1979, studied philosophy, history and Indology, as well as Certificat supérieure in piano in Lausanne and directing at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna.

His productions have been staged in German and French in Vienna, Erlangen, Dortmund, Lausanne, Geneva, Neuchâtel, Basel, St.Gallen and Luxembourg. He has also translated several plays such as Sophocles, Chekhov and Theo van Gogh.

In 2011 he was nominated for the Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2011 with “Text”. In 2011-2012 he received the literar mechana annual scholarship.

In 2014 he was invited to the Forum of Young Authors at the New Plays from Europe Festival in Wiesbaden.

For the WIENER WORTSTAETTEN he wrote the play “Plötzliches Tosen einer vorbeifahrenden Schnellbahn”.
