Marianna Strauhs, born in St. Pölten, studied stage design, scenic writing and theatre dramaturgy. She then had a number of jobs, from dramaturgy at the Staatstheater Stuttgart to storylining for Sat.1 to artistic assistant at the Volkstheater Wien.
She is mainly active in the text field, with world premières in St. Pölten, Ludwigsburg, Linz and Zurich, among others.
As part of the WIENER WORTSTAETTEN, she wrote the play “Schwarze Schafe zählen”.
She wrote the episode “6 EURO 50” for the international writing project NEUROPA.
