Rike Reiniger, born in 1966, grew up in Bochum, worked in a traditional puppet theatre, studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (puppet theatre) and at the University of Giessen (applied theatre studies), directed in the independent scene in Berlin and was co-founder of the theatre ensemble Kumpanya. After its dissolution, she went on to a permanent engagement at various theatres in Saxony. Rike Reiniger has been a freelance author since 2011. She lives in Berlin and Vorpommern.
Rike Reiniger took part in the Tour of the Text 2023.
Her feature for theatre „24 FRAMES/SEC“ was chosen for the 2024 selection of the german speaking committee of EURODRAM.
